Cara Hickman, Director of Sales and Marketing. Cara joined the firm in August, 2011 after gaining 4 seasons of marketing and community relations experience with The Houston Texans. As Community Relations Coordinator for the Houston Texans, Cara was responsible for creating dynamic events to benefit community partners. Leaving one work family to join her own was not an easy decision, leaving behind wonderful friends and memories. Ever grateful for her experience with the Texans, Cara returns back to the company she literally grew up with! Working part-time through high school and college, Cara has always had a part in the business, creating flyers and brochures, preparing workbooks, and ensuring participant access to online training programs and assessments. In her new role, Cara takes on the responsibility for determining the company's marketing plans and sales processes. Cara graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan, a far cry from her southern state of Texas. During her first years at UMich, Cara studied in the University's sports marketing program and volunteered in all sports marketing events. Her semester internship at a local sports marketing firm in Rochester Hills, MI turned international when the firm bought a soccer team in England. Continuing to learn marketing skills during the summer months, Cara was hired by the Houston Astros where her public relations skills flourished. Cara brings experience, talent, energy, and a compassionate spirit to Jill Hickman Companies. Welcome aboard, Cara!
