Whoo Hoo! It’s done, it’s finished, and I’m officially certified to use MBTI. Spent this last day reviewing and role playing ethical dilemmas in the administration of the instrument with clients.
Overall, the certification was a valuable experience, having been fortunate to have been trained by the past CEO of the Center for Applied Psychological Testing (CAPT).
Participants in my leadership programs will be tickled to know that I too must sit through days of training, work into the wee hours each evening to catch up on work that still must get done, and be fresh and civil enough the next day to retain info from the prior day while continuing to absorb and apply new information!
This is what leadership is all about! It’s not the easiest path, nor the path most taken. Leaders step up, make tough choices, persist amid challenges and crises, and by doing so, encourage others to rise as well.
